Trilobite pedal car
The Trilobit project was inspired by the historical children's car of the same name. The original product TDV Mělník model A 5502 Trilobit was produced by TDV Mělník between 1960 and 1970. The product cleverly combined the advantages of a tricycle and a pedal car. The Trilobit became very popular and many people still remember it from their childhood. With my project I wanted to restore it to its former glory. To design a product that will build on it and become its modern successor. I wanted the product to retain its original character, but using modern manufacturing techniques and applying contemporary design principles. The prototype is therefore based on the concept of modern pedal cars and is intended for children aged three to seven.
